Veterans Day Deserves More Than a Social Media Post.
Pork for Patriots supplies veterans’ organizations across Iowa with everything needed to host a real Veterans Day celebration — pork loins, event supplies, and the knowledge that someone’s got their back.
Program Overview
Pork for Patriots was launched in 2023 because the Foundation saw a gap: veterans’ organizations across Iowa wanted to honor local veterans in November but didn’t always have the resources to do it properly. So the Foundation filled that gap.
Each participating organization receives up to 48 boneless pork loins and a complete event kit — placemats, cups, napkins, centerpieces, posters, aprons, and t-shirts. Everything arrives in late October, giving event coordinators time to plan a proper celebration.
