Pork Care Packages
It's Not Much. But It's From Us — and We Mean It.
Every year, Iowa Select Farms employees personally deliver Pork Care Packages to active and reserve armed forces members across Iowa. A $40 gift in pork coupons. A direct thank-you from the people who raise the pigs.
Program Overview
Iowa Select Farms employees drive to armories, bases, and reserve units across the state each year — personally delivering Pork Care Packages to active duty and reserve members. Each package contains $40 in coupons for pork products: fresh pork, ground pork, ribs, and bacon. Redeemable at Iowa grocery stores.
In 2025, the program extended further — packages were delivered to the Iowa National Guard’s Survivor Outreach Services and distributed to families of fallen soldiers, and to all staff at the Iowa Department of Veterans Affairs.
