Project Food and Fellowship
Food Is What Brings People to the Table. These Families Deserve a Good One.
Project Food and Fellowship provides funding to Iowa military and veteran organizations hosting social gatherings — because connection matters just as much as service, and these families have earned both.

Program Overview
Project Food and Fellowship was built on a belief the Foundation holds deeply: food doesn’t just feed people — it gathers them. It creates the conditions for connection, for celebration, for the informal support that holds a military community together.
Through a micro-grant program, the Foundation supports family readiness coordinators, community volunteers, and event organizers who want to bring Iowa’s military families together. Events can range from formal military balls to casual grill-outs — if it brings people together and honors those who serve, it qualifies.
