When school ends, the meals thousands of Iowa kids count on end with it. Food pantries across Iowa see their lines grow and their shelves thin. So we load up our trucks with frozen ground pork and get to work.
Program Overview
Haul Out Hunger puts frozen ground pork directly into the hands of food pantry partners across Iowa every summer — delivered personally by Iowa Select Farms teams, not shipped through a distribution center. Ground pork is versatile, quick to cook, and compatible with the staples most pantries already stock. We also deliver recipe books with every delivery.
Pantries can receive up to 48 cases of frozen ground pork — enough to meaningfully restock a freezer that’s running lean in the summer months when demand spikes and donations often dip.
