Fourteen programs. One mission.
Across Iowa, fourteen programs under four pillars meet needs we witnessed in our own backyard — so neighbors can thrive where they live.

Where We Focus
The foundation works in four areas where Iowa communities need it most.
Each program lives under one of these pillars.
Nutrition & Hunger Support
One in five Iowans doesn’t always know where their next meal is coming from. We show up every summer, holiday, and school year with Iowa pork and a willingness to work.
Military Support
We work alongside veterans and service members every day. Saying thank you isn’t a gesture for us — it’s a practice we live by across Iowa.
Childhood Cancer Support
A diagnosis changes everything. We can’t take that away, but we make sure families fighting childhood cancer have a place to rest, gather, and find joy.
Rural Vitality
Small towns are Iowa’s heart and soul, and too often overlooked. We invest in their libraries, kids, 4-H clubs, and futures because we believe those futures are bright.
Access to Nutrition
One in five Iowans doesn’t always know where their next meal is coming from. We show up every summer, holiday, and school year with Iowa pork and a willingness to work.
Haul Out Hunger
Every summer our trucks roll out to food pantries across Iowa, loaded with frozen ground pork for families who need it.
Power Snack
When the cafeteria at school closes for a long weekend or holiday break, the Power Snack program supplies kids with coupon packs to help bridge the gap.
Operation Christmas Meal
Every December since 2011, we’ve handed pork loins through car windows to any Iowan who needs a holiday meal.
Freeze Out Hunger
The first step to fighting food insecurity is the infrastructure. When new food pantries open, they can turn to us for support.

Childhood Cancer Support
A diagnosis changes everything. We can’t take that away, but we make sure families fighting childhood cancer have a place to rest, gather, and find joy.

Home for Hope
In Johnston, a door that’s always open — lodging and community for families traveling for childhood cancer treatment.
A Special Adventure
Joyful day trips for kids navigating childhood cancer and their siblings — close to home when travel is hard.
Care Packages
Twice a year, Children’s Cancer Connection families are surprised with themed care packages. Movie nights, picnics, and snow days on us.
Honoring the Military
We work alongside veterans and service members every day. Saying thank you isn’t a gesture for us — it’s a practice we live by across Iowa.
My Veteran Hero
Every day, Iowans nominate a veteran in their life — and we honor them with a branded hat and a public thank-you.
Pork for Patriots
Each fall we supply veterans’ organizations across Iowa with pork loins and the makings of a community meal.
Project Food & Fellowship
Micro-grants for military and veteran organizations hosting social gatherings that keep people connected.
Gold Star Family Gifts
Each September, families of fallen soldiers remember the loved ones they lost and the sacrifices they made. We’re honored to stand with them and offer a gift in their memory.

Rural Vitality
Small towns are Iowa’s heart and soul, and too often overlooked. We invest in their libraries, kids, 4-H clubs, and futures because we believe those futures are bright.

Henry's Heroes
What began with a baby shower and a generous impulse has grown into an annual program for Iowa’s children that finds a different gap every year.
Farm to Frontline
The Foundation recognizes our hometown heroes. First responders who make sure we’re safe, no matter where we choose to live.
