A Special Adventure
Many families navigating childhood cancer can’t travel far from their healthcare providers. A Special Adventure brings the getaway to Iowa — all-inclusive weekend trips to destinations across the state, designed with these families in mind from the first detail to the last.
Jeff and Deb Hansen Home for Hope
In Johnston, Iowa, there’s a door that’s always open. The Home for Hope is a warm, centrally located space operated by Children’s Cancer Connection where families can take a break from the hospital, celebrate milestones, or simply be together without the weight of a waiting room.
